Otis Park Golf Club is an 18-hole facility just off Highway 50 east of Bedford, 20 miles south of Bloomington.
Operated
by the Bedford Community Parks Department, and directed by Jason M.
Calhoun, PGA Professional, Otis Park encompasses an area of 145 acres
of beautiful landscape, 10,000 feet of rock wall and includes the 1864
mansion, Pine Hall.
The golf course offers a unique golf
experience through mature trees and features dramatic elevation
changes. Recognized as one of the top public courses in Indiana,
playing Otis Park is an opportunity to enjoy Indiana golf at its
finest.
The back nine was completely renovated and opened for
play in 2007 through efforts of the Bedford Recreation Foundation.
Seventeen acres were added for holes 14 and 15, which also added the
needed space for the teaching and practice range. Plans are in the
works for a front nine renovation.
